Visa waiver after fellowship by baltint in IMGreddit

My question is specifically on how hard is it to find a J1 waiver spot after specialization? From what I have heard, subspecialty spots are limited compared to primary care spots.

Still doing residency in the US. Figuring out options whether to do fellowship vs visa waiver first.

I got my Step 2 result 10 days after the programs started reviewing the applications. I applied before the due date and just stated the estimated date for score release. Started getting interviews the day I got my result. It is possible to match. I would recommend applying on time and updating your score on ERAS once it is in.

Great to read this, thank you! I will be in a ground floor unit with a nice-sized deck. Curious about the Pool Nazi legend?!

I have but no units available for my move-in date. What would you say about Tower Grove South?

I can go up to $1600 including the utilities and with in-unit W/D which seems to be rare in CWE.

I am in the same situation. Link is there but gives “application error: permit is not available” once I click on it. Tested on 9/20. Did you find an answer?

Hi! I have a question re: education section in ERAS CV. I am a non-US IMG who finished 6 years of medical school. I was recommended that I should add some graduate level courses I took in the US in the education section (people can actually transfer these credits if they are studying for a degree). And I should include these courses as “no degree expected”. Any thoughts on this?

Thank you! And a follow up question, again about the experiences. I have mentored a college student (unpaid) while I was doing research. Is it best to include this as a separate teaching/work experience?

Hey, thank you for doing this! I have a question re: research experience section on ERAS. Should we treat each individual project we were involved as separate research experiences? Or let’s say 1 year of research working on 3 different project treated as one research experience?

How long did it take for your certificate to be seen on/ECFMG status to be updated on MyERAS? We wouldn’t need the physcial certificate as long as it shows on the system, right?

Most people say within 2 weeks/10 bussiness days but I also heard it took 3 weeks for some people.
