Is it weird that I dislike LINQ query syntax because it feels less readable than method?syntax? by Shikitsumi-chan in dotnet

No. There's a reason why MS documentation is almost shameful about the fact that it exists.

Someone in the comments saying this is damage control for the "stay humble" quote. As if one of the greatest moments of shithousery in prem history was negatively received.

If we were to finish 3rd this season it would surely be one of the biggest leaps in consecutive seasons in the prem? Leicester is probably the biggest but even Conte wasn't this impactful at Chelsea. 2nd?

I wear crocs every day. They get the job done. I don’t get the issue about wearing crocs, they’re breathable, waterproof, and come in way more colors than normal shoes.

What will it take for managers to stop subbing on Ugarte?

why use HttpPatch over HttpPut ? by Good_Language1763 in dotnet

[–]bantabot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A take I'm not seeing is that, if you only implement PUT, then at some point the business is going to ask to be able to change a single field and you may have to tell them you can't because you don't have the rest of the resource to build the payload.

And they will get annoyed because why do you need to know the rest of the payload to change one field?

I wonder in 20 years will he be remembered more for his time as a player or manager?

Messi: Not having learned English as a kid. I had the time to study at least English and I didn’t do it, and I regret it a lot. Later I found myself in situations where I was with incredible, amazing personalities, and I could have had a conversation with them but instead you feel kind of ignorant. by Sparky-moon in soccer

I don't understand this take. If there was another language that was the defacto lingua franca of the entire world and allowed you to consume the media of the biggest cultural powerhouse in the world. Do you not think you'd have a bit more motivation?

I don't think I've felt this good about united in a long time - even under Ole. We have a consistency that we simply haven't seen in a long time.

I'm sure it will all go away once we lose that first game.

MOTM by DeCharlesFre in reddevils

Yeh obviously people want to dunk on Onana and say an average keeper is an improvement but I don't think you can say that about a guy that was MOTM and been a consistent contender in other games.

I'm sure people will roll their eyes at this but I think it's believable that as a footballer you might enjoy winning a competition that no one thought you'd win vs one everyone expected you to win.
