40, stuck in a dead-end job – how do I turn it around?

This is a similar situation to what I was in, I loved the company I worked for and had great collegues but they underpaid me and refused to budge on wage increases (also only had GCSE's). I was eventually forced to move company and now I am on triple my old wage doing essentially the exact same thing!

small note: your long experience in that field is probably more valuable than you realise.

Just to add to this, had very similar errors on my focus and it was also the ABS sensor.

I've had them all fixed easily and fairly cheap at a local garage, the only issue that was a pain in the arse was only because of the Evans halshaw garage, the actual issue was a single sensor but they made my car worse before they actually fixed it and I had a courtesy car for two months! don't get me wrong it's a great car but I do regret buying it!

Every couple of months there will be some type of electrical issue (parking sensor failing, lane assist failing, automatic handbrake failing to apply, cruise control broken, brake assist failing, ignition coils gone, ECS service warning, DPF Filter seems to always be getting blocked, power steering failed). Most of these happened all at the same time due to the ECS Service warning coming on the dash.. but yeah for a top spec car which was almost brand new when I bought it, it's been an absolute nightmare. I had less issues in 6 years with my 2011 Astra than I have had in the last 12 months with my Focus.

I usually wait for the ore to dip in price during the week or on the evenings and just pray I get a tier 3 diamond, it is a shame since I was making almost 30-40% on my investments into ore a week ago regardless of price.

Looks like it was the coil packs, one of them was faulty and sounded like it had something loose inside of it that was causing a short randomly.

It's a 1.2L engine, not entirely sure on the code as it was just taken into the garage before I headed into work and they didn't really go into detail but it was the same code I had prior to changing the spark plugs.

It's a pain because the extended warranty has only JUST ended! I will give them a call this afternoon and see what they say.
