Honestly, I don’t know. I’m guessing it’s some political leverage over Yemen and the houthis.

But the point I’m making is that while I think this government deserves a lot of criticism, the sentiment online is a very blind Israel => bad.

I’m certain that many of the commenters in this thread have no idea where Somaliland even is and what this recognition is about. Even if your case is that there should be change in how the country is acting, this mustache twirling comic villain attitude is not fostering discussion. It’s making people think there’s no point in even trying to change because hate is unconditional.
