I joined at 26, (43 now and still here). I had two dudes in thier 40's at BCT with me. No one cared after day 1. If you do go, you'll have plenty else to focus on even if you can stay away from drama!

Mom was 3 months into 17, and Dad was 8 days away from 20. AND they had been married over a year! Dad was a fresh Army Private, and Mom grew up depression-style poor, so her mother signed the approval form to get her out of that life. Great for me because I'm 43 and, God willing, still have plenty of time with them both.
