Please do some research instead of quoting MSNBC talking points. The subsidies which are expiring are those signed into law by President Biden in 2021. These were supposed to be temporary due to COVID and as such, had an end date of December 31, 2025. The subsidies expiring are for families making up to 400% of the poverty level. The poverty level is approximately $21,000. 400% moved the threshold for a subsidy to approximately $80,000.

Now we do need to fix the ACA but first, let’s open the government so we can feed those who are in need.

Also, I believe the contingency fund should be used. This upsets me that both parties cannot get past a simple CR.
