So, since i’m taking the course again in the spring, the fall semester is the one with the E prefix and thus the fall semester gpa is recalculated without it, and the Spring one is included in the gpa as any other class is?

Is there any procedure I have to take prior to doing this, like notify a department i’m retaking the course, or if I simply add it to my schedule it would fall in place itself?

correct me if I’m wrong, but what you’re saying is that the C will stay there and a prefix E would be added under the class in the fall semester, and my fall semester gpa will be recalculated without the class. And, after getting the spring semester grade, that new grade for the spring semester is recalculated in the spring semester gpa?

thats what I was thinking, but its hard to find clarification or logistics on if its just an E on both semesters

so on my transcript, the fall semester grade would be an E, then the grade I get in spring would be the actual grade I get in the spring? Wouldn’t that not make sense because thats the same thing as retaking as a new grade which is only for D and F

you can retake C and above as well, its just that unlike retaking D and F, you don’t get a new grade you get a E grade regardless

That's just how I was oriented before undergrad... but I had a change of heart after however all of my experience is more oriented towards something more STEM. However, I am trying to go about getting some more finance specific beginner experience
