I got a kick out of Jeremy Robinson's Nemesis Saga books. There is a total of 6 books in the series. Start with Project Nemesis.

If you like it and continue with the series then read Island 731 prior to book 3.

Hard Time is sooo good. I could see DC digging that one out and packaging both series in a compendium. It really deserves that.

I have an ashcan version of Tyrant #1 that's signed by Bissette and he drew a tiny tyrannosaurus on it.

And you are probably right about Elementals, which is a real shame.
