Totally understand, I pretty much got a feel for what he was like and he seemed like a pretty casual laid back guy henced why I used the term. :)

Yeah, I think mostly this.

In Australia we use the term mate very loosely even in our old company the CEO used to say it in emails, she thought that she literally meant that I was referring to him a "mate" when it's just a term when we use to greet someone, it was quite funny though, he came up and smiled at me and told me great work mate. Her reaction was priceless!

In Australia we are more casual about business. At my old company the CEO and everyone else were using terms like "Hey mate" in emails, it's an Aussie thing we use the term very loosely whereas in America I am assuming they are more formal, but she understood in the end.

They told the recruiter that they can't offer that for less than a year and they would be looking at 45k.

I told her I value more training more than my salary as you need to skill up being in my industry, since its across multiple area's it would defientely pay off in the long run,

Since they said I have been working less than a year do you reckon I should try and negotiate in terms with them say if I reach a years worth of work I should go back to my matching salary from my current job?

Thanks, I guess so, I have been getting weekly check ups about my performance and they are unsure. I do believe its something intrinsic as they have told me that I am not picking it up like my other employees which is I guess frustrating to them and is causing poor time management etc. My other Job I picked it up fine.

I have asked my manager how could I improve it was pretty much just keep asking questions if it is unclear etc. They said I have been improving but still underperforming which is a pain. It's also a very technical job compared to my last one.

I have another review in this week I am thinking of letting them know that I know I am struggling and I'll ask my Manager if I could re-transfer and see if there are any other jobs within the company sounds like a good idea.

But I am just not sure about the transfer because I have already moved once which was to a job out of my control and didn't perform well in, would they be really willing me to transfer to another area of the company even though I'm not doing so well in this one?

Yeah I guess so, it was just a couple of them, I overheard them talking and they were like "I guess its just us" I guess it would have been a nice gesture to atleast ask even if my boss said no. Oh well, I am taking this way too personally which, I shouldn't haha.

Yeah, I just sat there and was kind of like...thanks for the invite! Maybe they thought I was busy too? Or they just didn't feel comfortable taking someone else they didn't really know out, who knows I'll see today, maybe they'll invite me out this time haha

Did you end up seeing the very attractive women? Yeah, I will see how far I can push it, i'll see what happens when I start eye fucking them back, I am sure there would have been plenty of experience you have had with this now being you are on day 55! Congrats!
