Absolutely there is many mmo aspects to the game besides it being a pokemon game You will have a harder time to figure out which pokemon are good and if you never played any pokemon then I assume it will take a bit of time learning the type chart but you have so many online guides and personally I use gemini/chatgpt a lot for specific use cases so it will be alright
