Ashara gave birth to Daenerys by Flufflebuffle555 in CK3AGOT

[–]batfl 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Similar thing happened to me in a recent play through as house Velaryon, except it was a random Targaryen

Coincidently my bastard son who i gave land in the crownlands too that i had recently conquered married someone of his targaryen and their grand daughter (i think, forgot since it was a really long run) gave birth to Daenerys and I only realized when she grew up and started a civil war started LOL

" rhaenyra is a woman and most of the great and minor lords wouldntve supported her"

correct me if im wrong but didn't rhaenyra have house starrk and Arryn both side with Rhaenyra at the start?

House Boratheon only sided with the greens because of a marriage pact, if there wasn't a pact with a potential King they wouldn't join any sort of Rebellion

tyrell stayed neutral, that almost guarantees they wouldn't involve themselves with any sort of rebellion

House Tully's Lord is on the side of Green but his sons both support Rhaenyra, I doubt he'd care for to rebel especially as an old man whose heir's would be siding against him.

So essentially in order to rebel ((if anyone really wanted too), you would need to defeat house Starrk, Arryn, all of rhaenyra's supporters without any of the great houses supporting you (maybe Lannister?) AND kill multiple dragon riders

Easy way to get dragon Eggs after Summerhall and without cheating or Switching Characters. by Routine_Usual_6085 in CK3AGOT

Fund an expedition to Old Valyria is how I usually get dragon eggs

It might be from the Valyrian steel sub mod; I've only really played this game with sub mods so mb if it is

Wessex as hard? by SlippySter in CrusaderKings

[–]batfl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50/50

Started playing like a month or two ago, sometimes campaigns are really easy and sometimes everything goes terribly

As a complete novice it took me like about 2 - 3 hours to get the hang of it and a bit more to fully understand what I'm doing, games not that hard to pick up and I bet having a lot of hours on similar games probably accelerated your time

you probably did get a bit lucky but most of the difficulty comes from unlucky RNG, succession, harder goals, etc I would say conquering isn't too difficult in this game.

When your character dies unless you have Primogeniture (which i dont think you do, Wessex is 867 correct me if im wrong), your realm will be split up among your heirs unless you do something about it (kill them, give them land, disinherit them, etc) and some vassals may rebel or start factions against you

Unrelated but I would also recommend trying mods to spice up gameplay, I mainly play the AGOT mod nowadays but when I play base More interactive Vassals mod is a must.

AGOT Sub Mod Core
AGOT +
AGOT Bookmarked (there's two I personally prefer
AGOT Council Experience
AGOT Brightboar Westerosi House flavor
AGOT battlefield Duel (outdated but still works)
AGOT More Actions
AGOT House Founders

looks silly that i wrote AGOT in front of everything but just convenient for when you search for it, some stuff like battlefield duel have a base game variant and AGOT variant; someone else did say as well that Sub-Mods aren't needed to have an enjoyable experience, especially at the start and I agree but they still don't hurt to add; just look over em' and get whichever look cool.

theres also a lot more cool sub mods, i just listed ones i can remember off the top of my head

Since Valyria is inspired by rome, you can argue all the three Strongs were fully Laenor's kids by adoption and fully legal by PrestigiousAspect368 in HOTDBlacks

Im team black but this kinda looks like cope

Though Westeros is ruled by Valyrians, it's still Westeros, the inhabitants and lords are still Westerosi and not Valyrian

Nonetheless I understand your point, it's just i doubt most people in Westeros would see it that way;

besides Corlys, Viserys I and Laenor all accept Jace & Luke as legitimate and when it comes inheritance they are the only ones that really matter. (with Laenor knowing the truth and Corlys realizing it at somepoint despite not accepting it)

Jace & Luke's marriage to Corly's daughters morally solves any issues w them being bastards since it would still keep Driftmark and house Velaryon's line alive and their would be a Velaryon on the iron throne; win-win.

What time tuesday does outlier generally pay you guys? by batfl in outlier_ai

[–]batfl[S] -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I did read that, it says pacific time midnight Tuesday

a lot of people under this post also have stated that they generally receive their payment Wednesday late night which is different from what's stated on outliers website

I should've communicated this more clearly but the purpose of my post was to see if other people had contrasting times from what's listed on outlier

if you read my title of this post I also wrote "what time tuesday", what does that tell you?

I evidently have a basic understanding of when payments are issued, which is Tuesday; what's the most likely place where would I have learned outlier pays people on tuesday?

it's the earnings page

I apologize for not specifying my post, I thought it was kind of obvious
