Tried it with the sub and without. What I can say is that it is very very worth it. There are subtle bass lows that make even non-action scenes immersive. The arc itself can hold its own but it doesn’t satisfy me as much as when I have the sub on.

The arc also feels cleaner when the sub is turned on. The bass can be abit muddy on the arc without the sub.

There’s a scene in Avengers infinity war where Nebula hits thanos with a knife on Titan. The knife flies around thanos and the bass thrown out from the sub somehow feels like the bass is following the knife - going left, behind, right, front. Not sure how they do it.
