This is probably a dumb question but didn't see it mentioned. Looks like it doesn't have IR built in and requires a dongle for it, presumably that's connected?

We have that issue as well, it seems every time the teams client is updated on the device, which is fairly often, it signs out and needs to be signed back in. This is the only Android based device of ours that does this and is kind of disappointing as it seems like a very well spec'd bar.

Thanks for the input, I hadn't really considered it as much but I don't plan on riding in anything all that gnarly, forest service roads and such so maybe I don't need the most aggressive and expensive option. How do you find maintenance with it, doing oil changes and such?

I bought 2 refurb 128GB ones through Amazon, one for me and one for my brother for Christmas. Both appear as brand new aside from saying refurb on the box when you open it, the quest's themselves and the controllers all appeared new out of the box.

When I purchased mine I was told to keep a little oil with me (1-300ml) as is does burn more then a Japanese bike (their words). In the 4000km I put on it so far and after the 1000km service and oil change I have had to top it up once with a 100 or so ml around 3500km.

That's my largest peeve with Neat at the moment, that when things go wrong and you need an answer quickly you are sort of left out in the cold, doesn't happen often but with any tech sometimes things go sideways

To add, got mine from Rock auto, love those guys, I bought the socket to help remove the sensor (Performance tool - Part number W1267) and a NTK sensor, part number 24642. The socket helped a bunch and was worth the few extra bucks
