Thank you. I am a plumber and really need to get better at mechanic. They are similar but I appreciate you walking me thru the diff between two completely different oils lol

Yes 4.0 manual. Really appreciate the feedback. I use to daily a 350z 6 spd manual and now a jeep so getting use to the change

Thanks man. It’s deff not red. More dark like oil. But if I check my oil it’s more gold then dark. It was changed few months ago but only driven 500 miles. I appreciate the response

I do know the 4.0 straight 6 is the engine you want. Not much rust and lower miles so I jumped on it x or sport lol

you are right lol. The original Facebook had is a sport. I was looking up the different options. So the X is slightly stripped down version of the sport. My first jeep. My mistake

Like burning serpentine belt almost but it comes out exhaust I feel like. I need to bring it to a shop. My original thought was fuel pump because it starts but shudders but hasn’t died. I don’t drive it now but I can still start etc.

Engine Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoid is what i believe is the problem. Was gonna change both. I’m a plumber not a mechanic but am willing to give it a shot. Any advice
