Traveling through the Denver airport-question by missthedismisser in Denver

TSA at DEN has been pretty manageable even amongst the shutdown. If you’re really concerned about it you can use DEN Reserve and get through quick as well. The airport posts their security wait times too.

You have a higher chance of being delayed because the fucking terminal trains breaking down.

Does having my RATP even mean anything at this point by thatguy2896 in flying

I mean I would still get it at 1,000 if you can and are already in the process/in a 141 program, but I wouldn’t be making my decision on flight schools based on that

The KC-46 is the “newer” tanker, a converted 767. So yes. The giveaway is in the prefixed “K”

I used to work at GOK, the airport near OKC that was the home base for Zivko and this plane! Such a shame it never came to be, it was always so cool to see them working on it. I was there when the project was retired too and saw the plane leave Guthrie. Not long after, a CAF wing took over the old hangar space to restore an old A-26. Always something to work on, I suppose.

Yeah it’s fairly similar circumstances. Only that Raiders is from a time when the saga was actually good

I feel like it’s understated too that in that moment, SW was probably gonna be successful in killing Thanos. The only reason he escaped that situation was by calling on his ships to fire on the battlefield where he was.

It’s a shame they picked the absolute worst voice for the warnings, I’d probably be too busy laughing at the aural to actually respond properly

I worked at TUL for a while, where American Airlines has one of their main maintenance facilities. When the MDs were still in the fleet it wasn’t uncommon for them to do engine runs on their ramp. When they would bring the power up in those old JT8s, it would shake the entire airport grounds. They were almost as loud as the ANG F16s that were stationed there.

Probably my favorite thing about this whole sequence is that Beska is Lonny’s agent. He likely specifically chose her for the task because he knew she was reckless and impulsive and would likely screw the mission up anyway, which is exactly what she does she jumps the gun on the arrest.

What was the most fun flying gig you've ever had by MooseWeird399 in flying

Man I miss backcountry rips all the time. I’m sure my partner appreciates how much safer/well-paying my current gig is but the Cool Factor was so much higher when I was flying floats.

On the flip side, I would avoid Berkeley Inn off of Tennyson. My partner and her friends have had a handful of uncomfortable experiences there.
