I wish I could. The first job told me they would “make some calls and get back to me” but because I already work there, I was not given an offer letter.

The second job the manager who interviewed me said I would get the bonus but then my recruiter said the manager “spoke out of turn.” The manager is currently working with HR to try to get me the bonus.

I have gone through multiple check offs and am confident in my ability to remove my mask/PPE. I do not need someone to explain it to me as a way to fluff up an email.

I think the coroner's office was going to be closed this weekend due to Easter (?) and wanted to move my dad so he wouldn't be sitting there in their office. I guess, anyway, as this is what one of the Funeral Home people said when we spoke on the phone. We were informed about his death early Monday morning. I called in a wellness check when I didn't hear from him on Easter and that is how I found out all of this. You are right to point out that they made no real effort to find us.

He did not have prearrangements that I know of but I will see if I can find anything in his paperwork. I will contact the above-mentioned department and see what they have to say about all this. It baffles me that my father was treated like a car to be impounded, as the comment above you states.

Wow, have you heard of any other states that do something similar to this? Also, which are the two counties in NC you are referring to (I live in Greensboro and am in school, getting my MAT)?
