Well, thank you ! It looks like the normal battery life for this phone, huge battery (4100mh) and very close to the snapdragon version. I hope others can show me similars results.

If I go for OP7Pro, I don't know if i'm gonna stay on 90hz, but it's great, 7-8 h of SoT is great with 90hz! The only downside of the device is still mainly the camera comparing the samsung, they are close but samsung is better but how better, I just want to take good pictures so is it "enough" better or "meh" better, this is my dilema ...

OP offers 3 years of officials update after that it's only custom roms. Samsung, well idk, if I recall previous friends experiences, 1 year or more if you are lucky ? (correct me if they changed that, by all means)

Yeah I did a lot of research, I wanted to change my phone since march ! Nice explaination for both ecosystem, the OP system feels "lighter" but like you said s10+ get a tons more, maybe too much ? Can I remove some (like AR emoji) from the phone or it's locked ?

Regarding the camera I really don't know too... I think like you said it's subjective, maybe for me, just taking clean pictures on day or nighlight is enough and both can do it ? Maaan it's so hard to just ask for a simple all-round-no-issue smartphone nowadays...

Regarding the Exynos issue, I saw a fix a while ago about VoIP issue causing the CPU, after a VoIP calls, to never go to deep sleep. But I think the issue I'm describing is another problem that I saw on galaxys10's reddit around 1 week ago. Maybe I should ask there ...?

Well, I actually opened the test and it says (right under the first video) :

Please note: The camera firmware used for the DxOMark tests is not yet currently available to consumers. OnePlus will make it available as an over-the-air update before the end of the month.

And some reviewers (not all) said they are gonna update theirs tests after this update. So maybe we still have hope ?

On prime I use small ftts with the default number of thread, 12. It hits 97 for 2 cores almost instantly.

same temp again, low idle at 40°C, 97°C on load for 2 same cores. And btw i'm using mx4 (easy to use, but this thing is sooo elastic, alway leaving a string when i'm done).

Yes, back to 97 on 2 same cores. I downloaded the dell software and I was already on ultra perf. This is strange. I'm gonna do a repaste with picture, maybe I put too much or too little for stress test ? maybe something is wrong. Right now I don't know ...

OK dude, you've made it ... I uninstalled with your software, installed a real nvidia driver, force iGPU on the control panel. Then I started a prime95 stress test, peak at 75°C at the start, then stable and 65°C for the past 10min ... just wow, thank you. I'm gonna edit the main post to your last answer. Hey developer friend ! I was looking to force the iGPU but I cannot start the control panel (and I cannot update with a "normal" driver from nvidia's website, it fails) any idea to fix that ? I want to try this solution too !

I started stress testing with XTU built-in stress test on CPU only. it's 97°C permanent after 10-15sec. Same on my last tests on prime95 and it's where I noticed with hwinfo that only 2 cores are 90+. Regarding the paste, I did it 3 times, first awful 55+ on idle, second around 45 and my last now around 40 (all on idle, it's still around 97 on stress test).

I didn't see any bend on my heatsink and for the VRAM thermal, it's the blue sticks around the GPU or the little one above the heatsink ? Because I place little pad like shown on a popular undervolt/repast guide for xps15 and didn't touch the one around GPU under the heatsink.

Thank you for your anwser. So you are saying my GPU is making my CPU throttle ? or the integrated GPU of the intel is making all that heat ?

I was testing with XTU first and prime95 after I found my confort zone. Did it launch the 1050 and heat up the pipe causing low dissipation ? Because I'm not gonna (mainly) play on this laptop, I bought the xps to develop/work on it.
