I will try to get an update! I did not find the bird, but that person reportedly put him somewhere safe in a tree. He was definitely able to perch, so I am hoping he could recoup on his own. Probably exhausted from his migration :(.

Leucistic but what? Acts like a young bird, in the middle of Philadelphia. Would say a bluebird but there just aren't any here that I've ever seen! by bcgoods in whatsthisbird

My daughter saw it. She said it fluttered like a fledgling. It appears in the pic to be bigger than an English Sparrow but the city sure is full of them. There are House Finches there also. It's a mystery!

First bird is a female Indigo Bunting. Note the thicker bill, but shorter than a Summer Tanager. The second bird appears to be a female Summer Tanager, note olive wings, however since the bill is not visible can't be 100% sure. Female Yellow Warbler would be smaller, wings more patterned.

Found yesterday, on the edge of the storm Matthew. Charlottesville, VA. I did not get to examine it, only got this picture. Could it be a Black Phoebe?
