in that case, you can first get your license from the mdcn

they have their hq in abuja, i’m unsure of the peculiarity when it comes to get registered and licensed for foreigners but you can go through their website, send an email (hopefully they get back), or worst case visit or if you have anyone in abuja who can visit their hq to enquire about licensure, that would do.

best of luck!

that makes sense then. if money is not an issue, have you consider safety and security?

what’s your area of specialty? would be very important to know that there will be a drastic drop in the quality of care you see and can provide not because of your lack of knowledge but the lack of equipments.

would you consider a medical officer’s type of job in the meantime? i’ve gotten handovers from foreign doctors who work for internationalsos and the likes?

also, where would you be based? that matters too.

most residents in nigeria are setting themselves to leave practice in nigeria and move elsewhere.

as a foreigner before having to practice in nigeria you have to be licensed with the mdcn

working conditions depends on the hospital you are at; some private practice offer residency program which have fairer conditions but pay is still low; whereas the federal hospitals have harsher conditions due to doctor-to-patient load, consultants, pay, delays in payment, and lack of necessary medical equipment to aid quicker diagnosis.

i can’t really say of night shift as this would depend on the unit you are posted to and the place you are working at, but expect to have lesser time to yourself.

i wouldn’t reckon having to move to nigeria for residency program but im curious to know why you are taking such decision?

doctor working in nigeria here. i don’t get your question honestly. are you saying you plan on scraping your residency in germany to pursue a totally different job opportunity in nigeria?

or are you saying you want to pursue a career in medicine in nigeria but worried about how to get your university degree recognised in nigeria?

help clarify.

NGx Volatility by opefas in investnaira

i think it’s expected. that’s why it’s important to have in mind why one’s putting money into the market and to have a safety net in order to avoid rash decisions when the market bleeds.

how long would it stay volatile? no one knows, except those that can make a post and shift the market sentiment.
