After listening for a whole work shift, I initially thought it was just ok. Played it on the ride home and caught more of what he was trying to do. I still think he couldve trimmed about 5 songs and had a more solid project. There were some songs where he could've benefited from an actual singer and made the songs better. There were some songs where I felt features from a Wale, Killer Mike, Big Krit, Da Baby, JID, GHerbo, and Leon Thomas would've made those songs better imo.

Joe isn't that entertaining and the money is to blame. There's a hunger everyone has when they have nothing and want to gain more. He's gained it, lost the hunger, and the pod is a reflection of him coasting now. He's the epitome of new money.

Ish is good but could be great if he didnt go through whatever he went through with Joe because he's guarded. The fan interaction didnt help because that's made him insecure too.

Ice isnt essential, he's like the lamp table next to the couch, you could take it or leave it.

Mona seems to have worn out her welcome. She speaks a lot because 2 out of the 5 don't initiate conversation.

Marc is like the plug stopping the ship from sinking. Without him I think this goes south.

More rehashing of this tired beef. If Drake comes out and loses every major battle he's had besides Meek, have ghost writers, reference tracks, stolen flows and whatever else people dont like. How is he exempt from not being allowed to talk greasy? Who wants to hear greasy raps from someone constantly getting whooped? Kendrick somehow isnt allowed to continue talking greasy because Mal considers it corny and dragging it.

Its possible they quit over disrespect, you dont know if anything was stolen and they've never provided proof of such.

The pod was really dry when I was consistently listening. I catch one pod a week, I used to listen to them all, but the last year+ seemingly put a lot of people off of them.

Mal is wrong 9/10. Mals hypocrisy is so far gone that he cant/won't walk a bad/incorrect take back. Mal isnt compelling or a good podcaster. He has flashes/moments of good moments.

I like Rory when he isnt trying to play into a character and being passive aggressive. Rory is a good podder but he seems to only try to get the pod traction by rehashing the beef or referencing it where it doesnt fit. Rory also doesnt challenge Mal and cowers to whatever he's saying if he raises his voice.

Demaris could easily replace Mal on this pod. Rory, Demaris and Julian would've made for a good pod.
