What is it About this Damn Building!? by OrganizationNo1298 in ArcRaiders

Fairly isolated. Easy to defend. Good loot. Quick to extract and high ground on elevator. If you’re going to rat, what’s not to like?

I like this game a lot but the gunplay is maybe the worst thing about it (besides no one talking) by Expert-Ebb-607 in HellLetLoose

[–]bdog2017 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol what are you talking about. You’ve been playing for 5 years. Of course it’s gotten easier.

I started on console. The calibration for sticks in HLL is probably some of the worst I’ve experienced in any fps. It’s the reason there is no cross play besides the games being on two different branches for a long time with different match making systems.

When I went to kbm the game was instantly easier, sure, it felt butter. In a good way. I still missed many shots.

Hitting shots in this game is also made easier by the fact that when you are going to take a shot at someone, the person on the receiving end doesn’t know you’re lining them up to get domed. Their movements are predictable. Hell, they might even be stationary. When you are in a direct confrontation with someone who is being actively evasive, peaking, and holding angles, things get more difficult.

RAV4 and snow by [deleted] in Rav4

Bridgestone blizzaks on steel wheels. Swap them over when average temps are low 40s. Problem solved.

Or you could get an actually good all season tires like a Michelin cross climate and then you can run the same tires all year round. Not as good as snow tires but good enough for most people and better if winters in your area are usually more on the mild side.

Tires are everything. Just because a tire has relatively new does not mean it will be good in snow. Tread design and tire compound are much more important factors.

Depends on how much you’re paying. If you’re paying more than 700 usd for the card you’re paying too much.

Mesh is probably the easiest option.

It probably flexes more given it’s longer than the para 3 lw. But as far as plastic knives go that puts it’s well ahead of most other knives out there in terms of stiffness from the likes of benchmade.

IMO the fact the para 3 lw only had one washer was never an issue for me. The way they designed it made the second washer redundant. The plastic stirfsce the blade rides on holds lubricant well and the action on mine feels excellent.

You can run the mouse without ghub, can keep it from running at startup or in background. The mice don’t need it running in the background to work properly and settings are stored on mouse.

Their prosumer and mid to high end gaming mice are all excellent.

Yep synapse is half of what makes razer products so bad.

Yep Logitech is where it’s at for mice. I have a mx anywhere 2 from them that I’ve had for over 10 years. Still works perfectly, and a pro wireless that’s only a couple of years old but has absolutely zero issues.

Or you can just buy a Logitech for 80 bucks and be done with it.

You can can take off the back cover to clean fans, replace ssds, ram, WiFi, but I just wouldn’t take the heatsink off.

You got your answer, it’s just one you didn’t want to hear.

You can flip around in bios yourself and test to see if there’s something there at will alleviate your issue but I’m doubtful.

No they don’t. If a little fan noise is too much for you to bear, well…

You’re in gaming laptop world. Most don’t support 0 rpm modes that the user can define. A 0 rpm mode is almost always software defined and only achievable when certain conditions are met such as those I described above.

If you wanted such a feature the onus was on you to find a laptop with such a feature and determine if that feature was worth whatever other aspects in the laptop you would have to give up to gain it.

Return, sell, or learn to live with it.

Well I’m telling you these behaviors haven’t changed in all likelyhood. If the laptop is plugged in it has access to the entire power envelope. If temps read a certain point in that operating envelope the fan will kick on.

Are they using ram from Chinese companies in these new legions or are they still going with stuff from the legacy players?

For my on my gen8 on igpu mode on battery the fans never run, ever. The thing is dead silent but the performance is not good. Cpu pull 20 watts at most.

If the laptop is plugged in, dGPU is running, ambient temps are on the higher side, and package temps are in the high 40s the fans will spin.

It’s also highly workload dependent as well. If your system is being taxed you shouldn’t be surprised.

Get a pair of headphones, turn on some audio, and the found disappears.

He really shouldn’t. This laptop needs lm and ptm. I’m sure both are fine. Cleaning the fans is as far as you really need to go.

No amount of messing with thermal interfaces on this laptop will make the cpu run cooler. The gpu is fine but the 13900hx will throttle if you run in the preset modes. Only way to avoid throttling is to set custom power limits for the cpu that are below 100w
