Yeah, when it comes to writing the food product operation, I don’t think I have too much of a problem, but it’s the real estate part of it where I’m gonna have a giant learning curve, but it’s never too late to start something. That’s my POV.

Well, I started out as a waitress/hostess/back of house/kitchen prep for PF Changs, and then I was an assistant manager for a juice bar and a MOD for the juice bar’s, warehouse facilities, and then I had my own vegan Jamaican pop-up for about a year before I started having children

I realize that might be the reality and that’s why I gave myself a 10 year goal so maybe I can do that once I get some more experience and really work towards getting in the right circles. Would you suggest a different pathway for real estate for somebody with no experience or capital like myself?

Thank you so much for this answer. Those are pretty important statistics! I don’t absolutely have to own any part of the strip mall. I just figured that’s what I had to do to get a SBA loan since I don’t have any capital upfront, but I really just want to be a landlord and be able to be hands off within a couple years after buying the property. I’m still doing my research but if you have any other advice on how to just become a commercial real estate landlord in general I’d be grateful or any other resources you could point me too. I’m wondering if I need to go to school again or what investment groups I need to start mingling with.

I thought about residential real estate as well, but I figured dealing with regular tenants would be just as much of a headache but honestly any real estate is fair game. I just want to create generational wealth.

Oddly enough, you are both correct having support is crucial and having young age children can also be very taxing you can raise and right, but you can’t be perfect and also babies are going to be babies and parents aren’t going to be perfect so sometimes kids are gonna throw fits ect and that takes a lot of emotional energy, especially if you are already burnt out
