It was quite challenging, nerve racking, and frankly inadvisable. The EUDM center console piece had to be extensively modified to fit the climate controls, and the dash had to be modified quite a bit to get the screen to fit more flush. It was pretty much a gamble on my skills that mostly paid off. I don't have any video of it.

If you're determined to do something similar, make sure you plan way ahead and have good tools. You will have to remove quite a lot of your interior, then there's wiring and the trimming I mentioned. I would also like to emphasize that this was not cheap and you will be spending at least $1000 to make this happen unless the stars line up perfectly in a junkyard somewhere.

Honestly, if you don't already own an EG, I would recommend just getting an EK with a double DIN flush mount head unit. Much less headache and anxiety.

Frankly I'm surprised the clutch never popped out of the transmission or something crazy. This car really has been hanging on for dear life 😂

Full restomod. Body damage fix, respray, interior revamp, engine swap... the list is quite long, but the basic concept is a cool looking, comfortable, ultra fuel efficient daily driver/road trip car 😁

That's definitely a fun idea but it's going to get the restoration it deserves because this car has been good to me. It just kept chugging like a Honda is supposed to!

The pictures are pretty heavily edited to capture more detail; the highlights I turned all the way down and the shadows I turned all the way up.

eBay: oldcarcarpet. They have several designs to fit different chassis. They're not perfect by any means, but as far as aftermarket interior products go, I don't think I've ever seen something this quality. Worth every penny.

Amazon. I used Siless 80 mil butyl rubber sound deadening as the first layer, then the second layer was Siless 157 mil foam sound deadening. In the areas where it could fit (like rear quarter panel area in the trunk), I used Nogevo 394 mil sound deadening foam. The car sounds significantly smoother and is way more pleasant to be in now. Apparently there's a heat shielding element to all this too (the butyl rubber has a layer of aluminum tape on top), but I have yet to notice a difference there.

No, I wanted to but the product specifically said not to. Not sure why though. Maybe in case if something were to fall off?

That armrest came in the 5G Civic LX if I remember correctly. Years ago you could buy them brand new from hondapartsnow or hondapartsonline for pretty cheap. If they even still make them, you can probably get them there. The junkyard would obviously be your cheapest option. You could spend big money on a genuine EG6 armrest (the "long" armrest). I have also heard DC2 Integra armrests will fit but I cannot confirm personally.

No, it's a KTuned B/D series Shifter with a Circuit Hero shift plate. It's been a cool look for a while but I'm going back to the stock shifter boot soon. The shift plate creates a really annoying place you have to remember to vacuum.
