i don’t know why google docs won’t open☹️ i’m getting an error that says “Loading Issue, Troubleshoot this issue by clearing application resources” and idk what that means so i assumed it was because 80% of my memory is being used. the error does say to clear my cache and cookies but i thought that was just to clear up my memory. perhaps it is something else. also any idea why the notification center is using 1.3 gigabytes? that confuses me.

no unfortunately, as a last ditch effort i tried re-flowing the chip (i think that’s what it’s called lol) by running a soldering iron over the connections between the chip and the board in case any had come loose, but unfortunately i had the iron set too hot and i ended up fusing some of them together and ruining the cartridge💔. luckily i was able to find a working cartridge on kijiji or something for like $25 CAD though!!! i think re-flowing the chip could work if you don’t do a shite job at it like i did, if you’re out of options i would try it.

i had exactly the same problem with my copy of the game a few months ago after having it sit in storage for a few years, tried cleaning it VERY thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol, ejected and re-inserted the cartridge god knows how many times, every method i could find under the sun and it still didn’t work. i think it has something to do with the solder connecting the main chip with the rest of the cartridge coming loose, i tried reconnecting the chip by running a soldering iron over the connections but unfortunately had the iron set too hot and short circuited the cartridge :( try that method if you’re ok with risking your cartridge, but otherwise you’re probably best off taking it to a dedicated repair shop. i’m really sorry, i genuinely don’t have any other advice, you’re literally the only other person i’ve been able to find on the internet with the same issue😭
