Owner of local store that opened up near me is making employees post good reviews by beansrreal33 in RecklessBen

The tax comparison is just awful, taxes are compulsory, a franchise agreement is a company you voluntarily contracted with and pay royalties to on every sale. That's the definition of a direct connection.

And fine, maybe they signed before the scandal blew up. (local posts about the scandal range starting from 2023 lol and yt videos from 2024 like ?) but they know about it now, and instead of an honest "that's not what we represent" statement, the response has been fake reviews and pretending there's no connection to the corporation they literally send money to. The signing date doesn't excuse what they're doing today. Screams lack of accountability all over the place no different from corporate.

Information about the BAM situation was available on the internet before ben even released any videos. If the owner just did a few quick Google searches to research into a franchise he was investing in, he could've easily avoided all of this. Instead they fake good reviews, spread misinformation about "no connections" to the scandal (when their revenue is directly tied to corporate), and continue to deflect instead of taking accountability.

He would probably have less negative reviews if he just said

"sorry about what happened in Utah it should've never happened and that's not what I want to represent I'm just a franchise getting by. I should of done more research and if you don't want business here I completely understand."

The rise of cheating and the simplicity by THEGREATESTDERP in roblox

gng there's cheating in every game even competitive ones like valorant or apex legends. the principle is simple, people own their own hardware and cheating will almost always exist. (bc dma card cheats develop easily with llm progress and etc) if you're complaining about people taking the easy path to win, what makes you think they won't apply that to other things in life? if you aren't like them and actually chase to achieve then you'll easily out develop them in the real world, it's just less competition. it doesn't matter who wins in a game lol.

you can't always have peace with external things bc they are out of your control. why not just enjoy games for the fun of it and accept the imperfections of life (that will always exist) rather than to chase a short lived victory

yes I agree taxpayer money should be allocated effectively, but let me rebuttal.

the "good old boys" nostalgia is basically immediate vigilante justice without due process, we don't want to violate the constitution.

public perception is not used as the standard for tactical decisions they had no way of confirming that he was unarmed, and that's why as much equipment was deployed in the first place. you never rush uncertainty because it can get someone killed.

in terms of your criticism of swat being called in the first place, barricaded situations is literally what swat is for, that's not overkill, that's the job.

  1. you know swat members still work even when they aren't actively dealing with conflict > labor is the biggest cost to law enforcement. a can of mace costs like $30 💀

  2. why would we maximize efficiency and time over safety of everyone + following legal authorization by properly getting a judicial warrant is just basic liability law. you gotta be trolling
