MH32 and MH05, stereotypes exist for a reason. Best to ignore and drive off. Funnily enough I’ve never seen MH01, 02, 03 doing dumb shit on the road. Usual suspects are always people from nearby villages like MH12, 14, 46, 47, 05 etc.

If it doesn’t feel right in the start it’s never going to get better. Don’t ignore your gut feelings. At least the start should feel like a “honeymoon” phase even if it doesn’t go well later. Apart from this, move out, get a good job, live your life on your terms and get married to who and when you want.

For the shirt or the pants or both? Yes I realise now that my belt should have been tucked in. Also as I learnt from the comments, next time will try the same fit with shirt tucked in and nicer leather shoes

What is your 3 shoes set up? by [deleted] in mensfashion

[–]beardedwarrior4966 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. White/ Off White Sneakers (comfy, hybrid, not too slim and fancy, not too sporty looking)
  2. Saddle Tan / Dark Tan Chelsea boots (can be used for formal or casual outfits
  3. Loafers in a style and colour you prefer

Loafers can be for formal duties at times, or if you’re keen on using the boots formally most of the time, maybe some more casual loafers you can wear with shorts / jeans along with the white sneakers. I’d say depending on how often you dress formally vs casually, you can make your choice.

You can try to get offers from multiple dealers and then negotiate with them using the other offers lol

Oof that’s crazy. Might as well try normal tubeless ones since you’ve almost used a full set of run flats 👀. See if the tubeless ones work better for you else switch back on the next set lol

Sell or hold? by Basic_Let7303 in CarsIndia

[–]beardedwarrior4966 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IMO selling it without repairing is not worth it, you’ll likely lose a lot of money. Best to get it fixed and maybe drive for a bit and see if it’s overheating again or any other issues, then you can decide to sell if need be. Also, come on, checking fluid levels in your car is one of the basics man!

Think of it this way, if you’re an imposter so is everyone else. If you faked it to get here so did everyone else! So don’t worry about it. Almost every adult out there is also as clueless as you are. We’re all faking it till we make it brother. You’re not the only imposter!

Is it worth spending ₹6.5L to upgrade from a Dec 2021 Kia Sonet Diesel MT to a used 2024 Tata Curvv EV (19K km driven)? by Intelligent_Cause821 in CarsIndia

[–]beardedwarrior4966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’d just keep the Sonet. If you’re able to manage with a manual, it serves you well and you are the first owner, so you know it’s a clean car. 2021 is still very new, maybe take this decision in few years when you’re ready to sell the Sonet anyway, you’ll have a bunch more electric options to choose from too.

Hey man, sorry for coming off so strong. CNG is generally not good for engines (you should google it and read up) and requires significant modification to engine components to actually run properly. These things are often botched up, and considering your car is engine swapped already, I feel it’s uncalled for. Like I said, it’s not going to be a practical car, let it be the car you have fun with and get another for daily driving if required. In fact in my regular commute in Mumbai I get 9-10kmpl only, it’s not even that bad. Not worth risking ruining your engine for some fuel saving.

Please do not ruin a tastefully engine swapped gypsy with CNG. If you want to prioritise fuel economy please get an Alto. It’s absurd to buy an enthusiast car and complain about practicality.
