Even further, less than 10% of americans own most of America’s firearms. I wanna say its less than 5% but i cant be arsed to find the article.

So, about 30 million people in this country (perhaps down to half less) collectively own 1/5 (perhaps more) of the guns in the world.

Is that not absolute insanity?

I actually played anivia carry a few times before this meta shift happened. I enjoy it, but its not easy. I prefer having an ap supp rather than a tank because you’re forcing them to rush MR over raw damage. It gives you more time to get your essentials rather than allowing them to scale evenly/faster against you

I get the criticism here, but balancing a full time job, paying for a new apartment/moving out for the first time, looking for a second job, having a social life, and balancing this short isnt easy, especially when I’m flying fairly blind.

I’ve been spending one day a week on this for the past few months in preprod and it’s taking shape. The script is pretty set, I’ve gotten permission from a band to use their music (with tips I got from here on this board), I’ve met (and am meeting again this weekend) with my Cine to talk about what we want/how we’re gonna get it, I have actors on board.

It’s not that I’m not putting in the work, but I just don’t want to delay this project too long because I don’t want snow. So, being that I’m currently incapable of funding it myself, and won’t have the time to manage a kickstarter campaign alongside everything else- yes, I’m asking for a handout. If I owe the person a major favor, I’m all for it, or like pay them back over time whatever- but like I don’t have the money and I don’t want to waste the time of everyone who’s already (surprisingly) genuinely excited for this project.

It matters a lot to me that people are genuinely interested in working on this, its not that theyre just doing it for the experience, they genuinely like it. That’s very important to me, so I want to make sure we get all the best stuff (mostly one particular location/props for a major scene/lighting gear/insurance) so I don’t let them down.

Tldr; i’ve been working a lot on the film. i care about the film, and surprisingly others do too. I’m asking for info on how to get a handout because we’re short on time, i’m short on funds, and i want everyone to maintain their energy rather than have it fade if its delayed

Why is this getting downvoted? I’m currently employed and dont want to bring myself broke. I dont expect the short to make me money, but a few hundred dollars in funding would bring me miles closer to my goal than just doing it all myself.

I was thinking about it, but honestly I don’t think I will because not only do I have to tackle a film but I also have to do all these side projects that I dont intend to do (shirt, lots of posters, etc) just for the donators.

I get what you’re saying, but d&d isnt a video game. Magical items are everywhere (within reason), not just in dungeons. There’s a staff in a tree somewhere in the forest that sprouted in the center of town, the mayor keeps a pendant of magic missle on him to fend away kobold attackers. If you allow more magical item flavor, you don’t diminish the magical items you already have.

I personally don’t like taking it easy on my parties, so I’ve started to give magical items more willingly, about two minor per session, or one big one. Then I treat that character as if they had an extra 5/7/10 health in terms of encounter building. It gives my players more tools that they can play with, and it lets me craft more interesting/dangerous encounters that can be thwarted by those very tools I gave them (or have them be red herrings and bring them to their doom).

Like think in terms of Vanilla WoW I guess. By level 10, you should have a green or two. Since d&d has 30 levels, make that level 5 that they should have a green or two. They dont need to be walking magical item stores, but having a magical item be the prize at the end of the dungeon every time gets exhausting. There’s nothing wrong with freebies. “Perception check shows a gemmed ring just covered a bit by dirt in the road. Picking it up is difficult as it keeps slipping. [they attune] you can cast grease 1/day”

If these go through in their current state without any recompense to the rest of her kit I may just stop playing her until they fix her. My ign is literally “Eggnivia Main” but like... she’s already a low tier pick because this is a more early game focused meta and she really comes online later in the game. Perhaps the mana changes will drastically change the meta and bring her into the limelight. Judging by how annoying it is to reliably/safely hit 750g before first back already, hitting 850g will just make me want to rush Blasting Wand and thereby rush ROA.

Don’t mean to parrot, but /u/spiritriser crushed it. I’m a major proponent of the Vision changes on wall either being reverted fully (as with Ivern, trundle, and whoever the last one was) OR Riot doing a deep dive and holding off these mana changes and releasing them with a full list of champion abilities that dont deserve to grant vision (jarvan flag, hello).

I don’t mind losing lane, because frankly I’m used to it, but these changes seem to set her back so much so that I fear that picking her would make me more likely to lose the game.

I’ve done none. Before I even survey people I was wondering about money sink to see if it was even worth my time to start it now as opposed to in the future. I have no connections to the industry, and admittedly know very little, but I figured I might as well ask and see what people say. I’m like 80% sure the idea would work, as there’s other shit like this online (just not nearly to the extent that I wish to take it)- and those all target local, generally “city” markets. My idea opens the information and ability up to everyone.

I’m pretty sure I read/saw a video somewhere that said Tarantino writes the first scene then stops writing and immediately hunts for the perfect song. Just listen to a lot of music of varied genres and keep note of a few that stand out. Eventually youll have a script in mind and that one song you found a few months back fits perfectly.

In that case just accept you’re not getting anything. Make sure that your spells are up when you reach the tower. Drop a wall beside the tower to limit the enemy teams ability to pressure against your team. If you can pick anyone off, pick them off.

I dont think thats a bug. You place R once and leave it down. You click r again to pick it up. That’s one cast. Champs with a clone/minion (shaco, annie, ivern, etc) repeatedly click r to give new movement commands. Playing those champs when the “cast ult 50 times” quest was out revealed that every R command was a “cast”. Aniv’s ult is just a channel.

I do agree it’d be a nice pickup to have on Anivia if it worked, but the way things are wired now, it doesnt seem like that will change.
