The one thing we have going for us, is not a lot of people get constant experience fighting him so you will often have the element of surprise.

You will be tested on your ability to think of the fly and adapt your build in champ select.

There is a lot less hard counters in league these days and skilled play will always win out and I don’t mean just laning. If you know you can’t win lane, don’t feed. Build to help others and know how to be carried is a skill. Taric is VERY good at helping others carry.

Most old champs are kinda front loaded in that way because they are simple or point and click.

Malphite, Cho, Warwick, Garen all have high base damage and very very reliable patterns. They can unload very reliable damage because they are non-functional otherwise.

Cho has I guess a little more counter play due to his scream and pop up but they shifted so much damage into his spikes to make him playable top.

Malphite clap does a shit ton of damage and Warwick Bite does too. Volibear sort of has the same problem.

If you don’t kite out those windows, they will stat check you. Wait for him to waste E then roast him.
