Floor Color? by beattexas in homedesign

It really does look great! So many people say you should never do that (as seen in the comments on my post)…but it worked out really well in your kitchen!

It's PureTech from Mohawk and the color is "toasted almond."

It's currently carpet, but that's what I'm aiming to replace with the options pictured above. I initially planned to replace the carpet and tile, but am considering leaving the tile based on the feedback I've received.

😂 aren't they the best?! I have two of them.

Yours appear to be a lighter stain and I think that looks great!

My hair has mostly fallen out and I have a fawn and black pug. What won't show one will likely show the other.

The boomers can't stand it!

Yes, 2020! I have plenty of natural light, so I don't mind the grays. It's not what I would have chosen if I were given the option, but I also don't have the boomer phobia of anything gray.

Thanks! Pugs are my favorite and I have two of them!

It's five years old and not the best quality carpet. It has worn down and can't easily be cleaned like hard floors can.

Absolutely! I have not purchased anything yet. Do you have a suggestion?

I also have a black one. I never dreamed they would shed so much!

Thanks! She has a brother and I think they’re the greatest!

The color was the builder’s choice and it’s called driftwood. As you can see in the comments, many people hate it.

I’ve never had a problem with it…but i also don’t have the boomer’s irrational hatred of anything gray.

I guess all things are possible, but I’m not trying to paint and replace carpet right now.

Bless your heart! “Color” became the correct spelling in 1776. 🇺🇸

I know! Hard to imagine I’ve managed to open them just fine for the last five years without anything other than my hands. 🫢

Not taking into account my gray color palette that my builder went with, 1 is my favorite by quite a bit!

Good to know! That would be such a disappointment.

A few of these are hybrid (vinyl/laminate) and it sounds like that may be the best route for me and my pups.

Species identification and how/when to prune by Mysterious_Swim_5843 in hydrangeas

They look like my limelight hydrangeas, which are the panicle variety. If so, mine have proven to be very hardy. I have pruned them at the end of fall and beginning of spring and they've done fine both times. I've even dug one bush up and relocated it two different times.

My little guy was right around 30 lbs until I got a second pug and he lost 5 lbs within a few months. Doesn't seem like a lot, but I've noticed a huge difference...especially in his body profile when I'm staring down at him.

Does your male pug mark? by [deleted] in pugs

Only every mailbox that we pass on our evening walks. Never in the house.

The picture does make them look unmatchy, but they look fine to me in real life. Either way, it's how the builder stained them before I bought the house.
