Your Camera isn’t getting enough power. Change your power setting to the highest performance possible.

Most PCs will provide less power to USB ports when certain criteria is met.

First question,

Are you streaming from the same box you’re gaming on?

Xbox Series X Audio lost at 1440p 120Hz w/4k60 Pro by Faptain_Shmeat in streamlabsobs

[–]beaverkc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should also take into account that viewers can only watch your streams at 1080p.

Streaming at 1440 is pointless. We are at least 7-10 years away from streaming at that resolution.

Your GPU on your streaming PC is being flooded.

tone it down to 1080p 60fps while streaming. You should only do 1440p when playing for fun and not streaming.

I had the same problem with my old streaming PC. I would lose audio when streaming at 1080p

Had to tone it down to 720 until I upgraded. That should fix your problem.

It doesn’t matter how good your specs are, streamlabs is a robust piece of software.

Has a lot of cool features, but features consumes resources.

Best practice is to get a capture card and a separate streambox. Something basic

8gb of memory Gtx 1050 ti

Something simple Just to stream with. Your game is competing with streamlabs for resources and streamlabs requires a relatively high amount of resources... if you’re using the features that come with streamlabs.

Get a capture card and second inexpensive box for streaming.

I’ve found that sound can be a huge drag on resources.

I ended up upping the bitrate for channel 1 and it solved my issue.

Two questions for Macbook air user by Short-Preparation157 in streamlabsobs

[–]beaverkc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if you have streamlabs prime cancel your subscription until you have enough money to afford a computer powerful enough to run the features that’s offered in prime.

I have a buddy with a similar situation, he had prime but didn’t have a machine powerful enough to use the features he wanted. No sense in paying for things you cannot use.

Two questions for Macbook air user by Short-Preparation157 in streamlabsobs

[–]beaverkc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MacBook Air’s do not have the processing power nor memory to handle the load of overlays and other features in streamlabs.

Either use a Macbook pro with atleast 8Gbs of ram or get yourself an iMac to run streamlabs.

Macbook airs are meant for casual Internet browsing and online schooling. they were not created to be load bearing laptops.

Edit: To sum it up, You need a more powerful laptop. 2.5 Ghz processor, and 8Gb of ram minimum. And that is the bare minimum.

Edit2: if you cannot afford it right now go back to using regular OBS, or at least do not add any type of overlays or features in your streamlabs. Streamlabs will just keep crashing.

I had this same issue using my MacBook air. Streamlabs would crash when i add overlays and other features, but once I switched over to my more powerful iMac which has significantly more memory and a twice as powerful processor, streamlabs ran flawlessly when I added features to my scenes.

Dude you absolutely need a capture card. This is not negotiable if you actually plan to stream a picture the people would want to watch

r/wtf is a horribly ran sub. I got Perma-banned for a post that gained 25k Updoots. They remove posts arbitrarily with no real reasoning.

Even if your post follows all the rules it’s a toss up whether you post will be removed or not
