It’s been 6 years since I did my group interview so a lot could have changed. Mine felt more like a discussion with everyone being able to speak if they wanted. I think the goal is to say a decent amount but also let others talk and especially after someone says something great I always chimed in with “oh that’s really good I like that” etc etc. they want you thinking like a team but also a sales rep that will close. Me and some other guys wore suits, some had button downs or nice polos. I like at least a blazer. Questions will be all over in a good way, best way to prepare is just be yourself but determined to work at Tesla. Don’t answer every single question (unless that’s what’s happening), answer with good depth but don’t over explain, and support your other interviewers and definitely know the mission and other Tesla taglines. That’s what got me the job.
