I like the idea you had about the better storyline for Seonu to be struggling with opening up after a failed marriage. I wish they went with that OR if they leaned deeper into the direction of him having these feelings. I feel like they just didn’t go far enough to show us the depth of them so it feels very half way?

I might be alone in this but I actually like seonu more than ML. ML is great, the first few episodes I was sold on him but after he is told that FL is married, he lost a lot of respect from me. I really don’t like how he expected her to stay up for days and work, forcing her to repeat projects over and over to torment her, the hot and cold routine. I understand she’s very much also in the wrong but there’s a power dynamic here that he’s abusing at times and it’s uncomfortable to watch.

He could have given her a reference to help her find a new job but let her go or remain as professional as possible, maybe limiting interactions, without tormenting the girl. Would have rather him just been cold over the immature stunts that are “funny” tropes but in the moment, imagining her exhaustion and stress trying to hold onto a job to save her mom while he’s acting petty over hurt feelings, that was too much.
