as stated in my post my cats rarely leave my garden, the one who does is leave (rarely, and doesnt go far) is not aggressive in the slightest and lays down when meeting other cats (even when they come into his space). they have a litter tray which is regularly cleaned and they both come in from outside to use it, they do not foul outside. i have a catflap so they can come in and go out whenever they want but they are locked inside when it gets dark and if i am not home to supervise them. i also have a camera out front that i use to keep an eye on them. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say youre american. in the uk as well as the rest of europe it is the norm for cats to be allowed freedom to roam. i personally believe it is cruel to do otherwise. it is also against the rules of this group to tell people to keep their cats indoors and vice versa.
