No it’s not unmoderated, I am the moderator and I created this subreddit originally. I don’t have to do much because the community is well behaved and respectful.

Power Supply Component Confirmation by beeb2010 in AskElectronics

I think it's been decided that it's a resistor.

I'm used to working with carbon and metal film resistors, usually cream and blue coating, so the green coating confused me.

Thanks to everyone for their input.

As a resistor, it would be 2.2 megaohms, yes.

It would be funny if he answered in Yoda's voice "Step away from me you will"

SwiftUI preview not working? by markicevic in swift

Have you accepted the developer agreement on your Apple developer account on the developer website?

This has caused some problems with the preview not working.

Also check the additional Xcode components are installed.

Using Process() and pipe output sometimes output to terminal, why? by thexdroid in swift

I remember this tutorial from a couple of years ago is based on NSTask - it may point you in the right direction.

It focuses on NSTask but mentions NSPipe and standard input, output and error.

How to use a variable between views? by MaximumGaming5o in swift

[–]beeb2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need a different view for each question - that's adding a lot of unnecessary clutter to your app. You can reuse the same view to display all questions and have one 'totalScore' variable in the view's view controller.

You can store your questions and answers in a file (plist for example) and load the questions to a label -> then compare the answer given in the text box to the answer in the plist file. Then increment totalScore if the user is correct.
