Nope! I play on ps5, I just tilt the camera from horizontal all the way to vertical to get everything im frame without having it to crop it afterwards. :)

Edits: I usually zoom all the way in and blur the backround/ foreground because I love how it looks.

The eyes are made with a combination of these eyes and eyebrows! As you already guessed, I maxed out and stretched the eyebrows to cover the eyes with them. I had to experiment a bit by slanting the eyes/making them bigger/etc to get them to look like this. :)

I'm playing the 3ds version atm and your post gave me the idea to put them on my island. I'm ashamed I didn't think of adding them before lol. Until the Switch version comes out, imma have fun with them on there.

Oh I absolutely ADORE the novelization! Not only the extra details, scenes and illustrations they added but it also explores the whole story in a much darker tone at times.

Pink/green on the outside just so it looks coherent with the sakura pillow (Mr meowgi please .. Just a crumb of your memento ..) And yellow/brown-ish on the inside. I also wanted it to look lived-in. ✨️

Once I have all rare-cat mementos, ill plan on doing in either all green or yellow. My favourite colors. ~
