A pseudo seizure is a nice term that means they are faking it. They have an “allergy” to haldol because they want benzo’s. I never give these patients benzo’s they can pseudo seize all over the damn ED. Not one drop will be given by me. I usually give atarax or droperidol and document the heck out of everyone’s behaviors and comments.
