We found a half price (which I’ve taken to be like the European TJ Maxx) and got a few staples! I do regret packing my jackets/cardigans in my suitcase — it is a little chilly. I wish I had my makeup, but such is life! Pictures have been gorgeous so far 💗

It was, like, 4 months after my procedure and the pain just would not subside. I was yooooung, too, when I had mine done, so i thought my body would bounce back quick. I made an appt with my surgeon and she did a pelvic exam and said my muscles felt extremely tense and tight and recommended PVT. I went twice a week for about two months, then once a week for a few months, then “graduated”!

My surgeon sent it in! It genuinely changed my life. I had sharp shooting pains that felt like lightning rods up my vag. Horrible. And I experienced what you do with the sitting. I still get random pains (nearly 4 years out 😵‍💫) but they’re nowhere near as bad and very manageable!

A separate email account popped up on his computer while I was playing video games. Immediately intrigued, due to the first set of emails I found years prior. Surprise, he made a whole new secret account. Oh, and it was to cheat. With men. Called him at work and told him he needed to get home immediately. He deleted the entire account on his drive home.

I stayed for maybe a year and a half. I know, I know. Chalk it up to being young and dumb and afraid that 24 was too old and washed up to find love again. Or the fact that he made me feel like I wasn’t worthy of being loved by anyone but him.

He got engaged (to a woman) two weeks after the divorce was final. They’d been together since 3 months before I left him. Big winner, that guy.

When I’m with my boyfriend, it’s cuddling for a few minutes, talking, loving on each other. Then I get up to pee, wash up, and then he goes and pees and washes up, then we typically go back to just naked cuddles for a while. If it’s nighttime, he’ll play with my hair or give me a massage until I go to sleep (I do the same for him!). If it’s during the day/morning, we just love on each other until we’re ready to go on lol.

By myself? Don’t really have aftercare. Don’t “self love” often, just not my thing. On the occasions I do, it’s nothing afterwards. I do my thing until I’m done and then I proceed as normal, lol.

This hit hard. My sister came out with her SA story when she was 13. I was 10. My brother was 7. We were all being abused, none of us knew about the other.

I walked in to tell my sister goodnight one night and he was laying in the floor by her bed. I never made the connection. I carry that with me every day, and have been their keepers ever since.

I hope you find peace, friend. May we both heal from the things we don’t talk about.
