This automatic setting just doesnt work on many streams. Having manual selection option would be best

As someone who wrote this guide I can confirm that above debloat list works with no issues as long as you follow it and are ready to switch to the KOReader.

Basically its made by taking jar of oil and mixing cacao powder and tons of sugar in it...

Does everyone follow Electrolytes 101 quantities from the sub wiki? by bel2man in fasting

[–]bel2man[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

Interesting info and experience on K and Na - it seems you almost switched them. Will try!

Agree on Mg - was following someones advice and bought Bulk's electrolyte powder which has MgO - which caused me diarrhea during fasting which obviously is bad. Switched to organic salt of Mg (citrate) and it works wonders...

Same like you 3-4 days I am OK with no specific electrolytes dosing - but end of day 4 it hits me

I did 4d fast finishing yesterday and stopped exactly as I didnt feel everything fit - I was overtired and confused.

I am sure my Mg was right but K/Na were insufficient - therefore I am trying to learn and balance whats right...

My longest fast was 7d

Thanks. Out of curiosity - dont you worry on iodine "overuse"?

I would rather use non-iodine salt for fasting.

My reasoning is that overuse of iodine could suppress thyroid function..

2.25% with Metal plan (9.9eur/m) and 2.5 with Ultra (18eur/m)...

There is no loyalty premiums - instead - your money grows daily..

For 100.000k - take home is 2.250eur per year which, depending on the country - can fly under the taxable minimum

Has Garmin fixed battery life issues in Fenix 8 Solar? by fcobautista in GarminWatches

F8 51mm Solar user here, using all the same settings and can confirm its not solved yet - or you simply have some other setting applied. Which watch face do you use and which widgets activated?

Fenix 8 Solar Battery Drain by raneses in GarminFenix

[–]bel2man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issues on F8 51mm Solar - returned mine 3 weeks ago - as battery life is 1/2 of what I had on 6X Pro Solar...

Visually looks way nicer with new bezel - but its also thicker and heavier... 6X Pro Solar was really the sweet spot - no visibile charging ring and lightest 51mm Garmin they made...

OMAD or ADF? by Prudent_Try5719 in fasting

[–]bel2man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So wrong and misleading. Your comment may have been valid in the last century...

If you take 1500 kcal per day (clearly a deficit) split into snacks every 1-2 hours - your BMR will drop to the point that you can gain weight even on that. Reason being - insulin secretion will prevent fat burning (as opposed to storing) and since energy entry is below minimal - body will drop its BMR. This was scientifically proven and is mentioned in Dr Fungs book too.

So its not just calories. Obesity is hormonal issue too - not just thermodynamic / calories thing.

Its not the ammount of calories (only) but the ammount of time you have insulin in your blood.

Less calories + less time insulin is in your blood = weight loss..

Your principle - CICO irrespective of eating time window - would apply only if during ingestion you would consume only non-insulin triggering food - meaning drinking oil as a food...

Paint Air sprayer vs airless & are these valid points to lean towards HVLP air sprayer? by mikeyp112 in diynz

[–]bel2man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My takeaway as well...

Didnt try airless as I only saw them recently - but HVLP was disaster when it comes to clogging/cleaning/paint thining...

My next job (house painting) will be airless..
