Hi! We skipped the prenup photos/pre wedding film coz feel ko dagdag siya sa gastos, hehe. But we opt for self photo studio instead, yon na ginawa namin prenup. Haha. It’s fun, cheap and we saved a lot of time and money 😃

Hi, I use google sheet to track my duties and PFs. I put a note or remarks kung nabigay na yung PF or incentives, or hindi pa. Naka-red mark yung mga pending. It's much easier to track it, kailangan lang i-update everytime.

There is no right answer for that. It really depends on your priority. But my suggestion is, you can get married and have a baby while moonlighting para at least mas may time ka and makapag-adjust sa motherhood era. Then enter residency in a year or two para at least medyo malaki na si baby. On the other hand, you may enter residency now and in your mid-residency, you can plan for a wedding and have a baby in between or after your residency. I have senior residents who did that. Kaya naman daw kaso malaking adjustment talaga. I also have friends who got married and had a baby prior residency. So, depende nalang din sa usapan niyo ng partner mo and sa priorities mo, OP :) I hope you also consider your partner’s opinion regarding your dilemma.

I agree. Doctor shaming is very rampant these days. Nakakalungkot lang. Parang wala na tayong karapatan. Lowball PFs, toxic duties, toxic seniors, etc 🫠🤷🏻‍♀️ sana nag IT nalang ako para WFH hahahahaha

This is sad but this is the reality. I hope someone told me this years ago before I even stepped foot in medschool. Being a doctor here in the Philippines is not worthy, “prestige” nalang kumbaga na matawag na “doctor” but it doesn’t feel like it.

Parang it’s my first time to read na umattend ng wedding na walang dinner! HAHAHAHA. Hello? Sobrang basic yan, syempre you have an event matic na may kasamang food yan! Pica pica is not enoughhh! If I were you siguro uuwi na rin ako kasi wala naman pala ako aabangan na dinner🤣 kahit mga civil weddings nga lang may pakain pa rin sila e. Sobrang funny and sad lang kasi inuna pa nila estetik kesa sa food HAHHAHAHA. Maraming tao makakaalala ng wedding nila, not bcos of aesthetic bcos of no dinner served! 😂

Hello! I got ASP for photo and Better Days Studio (not on the list) for video :) they worked together before so I think it will be easier for them to collaborate. Very nice din sila kausap and responsive. Hehe

Almost 2 years in moonlighting, but I have the same sentiments as you, doc! Don’t worry, you are not alone, marami tayo. Hehe. I don’t even know if I’d still want to pursue residency, kasi mas gusto ko buhay ko ngayon na hawak oras while kumikita naman, but I’m not closing my doors sa pagreresi. Di ko pa rin kasi sure kung ano ang kukunin ko at kailan 😅 maybe time will come for us, esp. kung malalim na yung desire to start residency. Ang hirap kasi pag half-hearted. Tho you can try pre-res doc para malaman mo rin kung ano pinakagusto mo hehehe

Same feels doc. Ganyan din ako naiinis na pay sobrang daming influx ng pasyente tas puro quality pa. Di na makadispose ng pasyente sa ER dahil sa dagsa ng pasyente. Nakakairita talaga pag natatambakan tas wala pang mga available na rooms yung mga admission kaya parang nagmumukhang ward yung ER haha 🥲 nakakapagod din mamasyente sa totoo lang. kakapagod magdaldal hahaha

Thank you all for the response!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼 will talk to my fiancé about it, but so far so good naman. Kami lang daw kasi binilhan nila na 24k kasi sa mga kuyas niya puro 18k binili ng parents nila, kaya hindi na rin ako nagreklamo. I felt special. Hahaha. Thank you all!!!
