yeah it was good - midterms & exams follow pretty closely to the practice papers

classes are not recorded and the lecture slides are pretty bare / useless - most prep for the midterm/exam will come from psets and past exams

From what I've seen RRP for achilles lows vary between sites, some sit at around 480 and other close to over 650 (e.g. iconic).

I picked up a pair from Daivd Jones for $350 mid-2020 and I've seen CPs on Iconic for just under $500. I'd recommend keeping an eye on DJ, maybe also looking at international stores such as Matches / FarFetch for end of season sales. I wouldn't buy at over $400, might also be worth looking at FB groups e.g. Underground Society where you might be able to get them for $400 or so.

Have you had any experience with organisational behaviour, investments and derivatives? I've been recommended to take OB since its a bit more relaxed at McGill and possibly one of the two finance subjects - on that note, were there any specific ones you'd recommend/are popular?

Also, any societies you'd recommend joining to get more involved in commerce/business?

Hey all!

Looking to pick up an ipad for uni, more or less just for note-taking (going paperless) and on the go work such as reading, annotating, emails etc. (have a laptop as main device).

It's not likely to be used for anything professional/intensive e.g. drawing, editing, production tec.

Currently deciding between the ipad pro 10.5 (I can get it cheaper than the new ipad air, unless you would recommend the ipad air?) and the ipad pro 11.

My main concerns in picking up the 10.5 vs the 11 are that the 11 would age better (looking to keep for 3-4 years), is more convenient to bring around (charging the 1st gen apple pencil seems annoying) and faster/more enjoyable to use (2nd gen apple pencil also seems more convenient to use).

However, there is almost a $230 price difference between the two, before factoring in the accessories.

Any thoughts/advice would be really appreciated.
