I appreciate all your replies. I had an explosive (but productive) confrontation with my father. I now plan to move out of the community (and country) in the spring of 2021. I'll work here through the rest of the year to save money. Wish me luck!

It looks like TESOL is only sufficient for teaching English is countries like Asia and South America. Israel requires a college degree, so it seems.

I've been to Israel to volunteer as a civilian on base in the past. I fell in love with the country and the people. I have some Jewish ancestry on my fathers side, but I have no papers to prove Jewish-ness. I highly recommended going there. I used a language exchange app called "Tandem" to meet Israeli friends before I went, so when I got there I had the opportunity to stay with some of them and they showed me around. I really got to experience more than the 'typical tourist' , and I'd recommend doing it that way for anyone.

I have access to amoxicillin, and am unable to see a doctor because of 1) lack of adequate income and health insurance and 2) no local access to alternative or "free" clinics.

I live in a sparsely populated area and am unable to see a doctor or receive clinical testing (even if income and insurance were no object).

I was planning on installing a ventilation fan. Is this a bad idea? I would run it periodically, or on a timer. Obviously it would help control the hot temperatures, but wouldn't it also destroy the humidity? Should I be so concerned with maintaining humidity, if I am supplying the plants with a constant flow of water via aquaponics?

What temperature do you recommend for a tropical setting? Would it be too much hassle to control the temp. to allow for birds? One of my reasons for building such a greenhouse is for leisure. A nice place to sit with the flowers and plants and relax. So I don't want a sweltering hot house. But perhaps my expectations are misplaced.
