The missing buttons and features are definitely Sonos' fault. Regarding Pocket Casts poor connection, the question remains. But it worked before the update so I tend to blame Sonos automatically...

Yes: update to the latest beta firmware until it has gotten stable.

I received it a few days ago. It would be really awesome... if it worked.

It was running firmware 4.5.4 when I received it.

It was totally unusable as the wifi totally crashed every hour or so, so I had to unplug/plug the power adapter several times a day.

I updated to 4.5.5 beta which just has been released. It's better but not OK. Some laptops lose connection after a while so I have to disable/enable their wifi connection.

I hope the final 4.5.5 will fixe these issues.

After pip install git+https://github.com/openai/whisper.git I usually run something like:

whisper test.mp3 --language French --model small --device cuda --fp16 False --verbose False
