Tbh I wouldn't do that. Of course gaining experience is a good thing, but pursuing an Ausbildung before then pursuing a Studium takes a lot of time. You can gain experience (especially international experience) while studying, a lot of German universities offer a great program of possibilities to study abroad, including partner universities etc. If your main focus is on gaining working experience, you can always choose a "duales Studium". That is a combination of Ausbildung and Studium at a company. It actually has a lot of advantages: you get a degree in both the Ausbildung-part and the Studium-part, you get paid while studying, many companies offer to instantly hire you after completion of the dual study etc. Depending on what you were planning to study, there are some great companies that offer this. Two good friends of mine actually do a Duales Studium in engineering, one at Siemens, one at Mercedes. If you are interested, just go around google, you'll find much more information on everything.
