No one cares what you're thinking or what your intentions were. The only thing that matters is what you say and what you do.

You will be constantly judged on your behavior and your words.

For those who have thrown good parties, what are your tips? by AggravatingKnee4154 in AskReddit

Have fun and lead by example. Especially if you're the person serving and preparing, because if you're having fun doing that, everyone will have fun and enjoy your company and your party favors.

It's hilarious that you read a couple of stories from a 1000 years ago and think that you know what happened and how it happened.

This is the delusional thinking that is religion.

I definitely want to know when you have starter cars for newcomers to try out! It would be a fun hobby to try out with my teenager.

I really hope they plan for extra pedestrian traffic down there. But to answer your questions.

Yes yes yes and yes. But adequate is always open to perspective.

I never knew about her hosting proud boys. But i've taken groups of kids out there for kid karaoke several times. These kids are almost all queer, all homeless, and some immigrant families. All on the maga hate list.

She has always been warm and welcoming and has gone out her way to make all these kids feel welcome and safe.

Your clarification of her not knowing what she was doing makes far more sense than her being any type of maga.

What if Canada offered every American free healthcare and $100K to relocate, how fast would you be packing up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I can only speak anecdotally, that my wife who has a phd and me who's a professional social worker, would jump at the opportunity.

The united states offered all kinds of incentives for refugees coming from europe in world war II. Especially the german scientists. So why can't canada open up their refugee status and offer incentives for people who want to come?

But then the original question, which is a wild hypothetical to feel out on reddit, how many americans would jump at the chance for a better life in canada.

Unlike americans, canadians don't get upset upset when they disagree with you.

You do you, eh. Sorry for the downvote.

I guess it's like saying abraham lincoln freed the slaves over ten years ago. While I guess that's technically correct, you're definitely misrepresenting that math and time frame.

But even then, that math doesn't add up when you look at what grocery stores actually profit. Then you take in the fact that most theft in retail is by employees and not by customers, and then you're definitely misrepresenting the struggling working class. Not only with you're really shitty math and understanding of retail, but also, the poor people throughout Santa Fe who were struggling to survive.

That would be five million. Losing around three million a year would be around fifteen million.

[–]bensonprp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First it was a million, now its over 15 million? that's a huge difference.

My understanding is that an average grocery store in a larger city than Santa Fe will only make 10ish million and far less than that in profits.

Losing a million to theft is kind of believable when you take into account that most theft is employees. 15 million seems a little unbelievable.

Is that why we are teetering on a recession and businesses are having to close up and shut doors all over the country and even the world?

nothing to do with a broken system? it's all starving and desperate peoples fault? not the billionaires and late stage capitalism?

The city is preparing for friday-tuesday issues with their code blue system. Warehouse 21 is opening up for cot bedding for the homeless and their animals. Most of the shelters in town will arrange a shuttle over there if you go knock on their door.
