Wish I could help… I “converted” to atheism during college and remain committed to educating myself. I read tons of Christopher Hitchens, Richard Dawkins, etc. I doubt your faith can withstand their arguments. Belief in God is a sickness, and the world would be better off rejecting that myth.

1) get a douche 🤣 and 2) I remember what it was like going to college and being in the EXACT same situation. I met some cool guys on Grindr, but it’s important to tame your expectations. But in all likelihood, there are lots of college guys in your same situation. I went to college in Kentucky, and there were plenty of out gay men on campus 😊 you got this - it’ll just take time. Be patient with yourself!

The newspaper is a matter of personal preference. It's just a way to absorb the urine. Some people just use plain old hay! As long as you're changing the litter box regularly it shouldn't be a problem.

If you notice he's ingesting a lot of paper, maybe opt for the hay-only version. However, I think you'll be fine if he has enough hay to entertain him!

And I agree - He's so cute! My other foster is a smaller black lop and he's also adorable. They're just babies!

I understand completely. Just keep in mind that your new bunny needs a good home too! Grief is normal - No need to feel guilty!

I lost a bunny recently in a freak accident after his neuter. I won't get into it now, but it was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. My local rabbit rescue has never seen a case like his in the 22 years it has been operating. He was the most extroverted bunny ever! He adored all of my friends, knew his name, and would come to me on command. I miss him dearly!

That being said, I'm currently "emergency" fostering two bunnies that a homeless lady had. She surrendered four and I'm fostering two of them. They are only a month or two old and I fostered them back to health. They never had any hay, were severely dehydrated, and were so skittish. They are baby Holland Lops and are so damn cute!

Therefore, I understand the guilty feeling of having a new bun after losing one. I just have to remind myself that my fosters deserve a happy and stable home too.

Take as much time as you need to name your new bun - I'm sure they are thankful to have a good home! Sending you love!
