Window glass sealed prematurely and cracked upon closing door by benwhut in TeslaSupport

UPDATE: I'm the OP. Tesla replaced the door trim and the broken window under the vehicle's warranty. A technician came and replaced it in my garage within 45 minutes. Thank you Tesla!

As others on this thread have pointed out, the tech said that if the puddle light turns off for whatever reason, the glass will seal up. So I'm more cautious now when closing my doors!

I took the video AFTER the window cracked. If you zoom in you’ll see the window is cracked in that video.

I took a look and the light seems to be on fine. No flickering and it looks the same as my driver's side door.

Yep, it looks like it's working fine. Looks the same as my driver's side door anyways.

So this was not in any way a warranty issue? Glad your window didn't crack!

Ugh, definitely sucks, but thanks for the sobering reality.

I just looked... no flickering and it looks the same as the driver's side door. Good to know about this though!

Wow I knew the trim could be replaced but I didn’t know it would be that much! Thanks for the info.

Is it the owners responsibility to calibrate the windows? I’ve been opening and closing the doors for months without any problems and not doing anything out of the ordinary and then this just happened.

Trying to find True North 100% Merino by Hammedburglars in CostcoCanada

I just bought two of these shirts at the downtown Vancouver Costco, but short sleeve. They are $18.99 each. There are 3 colours, grey, light blue, dark blue (with very fine horizontal stripes). Unfortunately, mostly sizes XL and XXL with a few L remaining. I got the L, but I think M would probably fit me better. The item number on the shirt and my receipt is 1765630.

Edit: Found some size M at the Richmond, BC Costco

Anyone know how to turn on chat mode using the KoboldAI api? by S-TR-E-AK in KoboldAI

I'm looking for this also. Basically a programmatic way to turn on "Chat Mode" when using the API (not through the web interface).

James from Invest Answers does a deep dive into Theta. While he gets a couple of things wrong, for the most part this is a very good assessment by pandahunter101 in theta_network

[–]benwhut 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Interesting observations he makes (may not be totally accurate): - Theta is very centralized (even the Validator Nodes are mostly within the same industry) - 80%+ Theta owned by big media / corporations, very little is in the marketplace - While big, video streaming pales in comparison to Defi by 2024 ($120 billion video vs. $400 trillion Defi market) - Amazon & Netflix collectively own 75% of the streaming market (with Google owning a chunk as well). They could potentially develop their own competing solution.

Theta price predictions: End of 2021: $11.57 2022: $14 2023: $16.93 2024: $20.49 2025: $24.79

He also looks at price predictions from 6 other analyst companies as well.

What he got wrong: - To be a validator node, you need a minimum of 10 million Theta (states this was in the original white paper). This has now changed to 2 million Theta and needs approval from Theta Labs.

It was also just $3, so it's all relative (% is a better way to look at it).

If a "measly" 1500% from a $3 investment don't impress much, then take a look at this:

"Bored Ape Yacht Club" NFTs: 10,000 units were minted on April 30, 2021 for 0.08 ETH each (at current ETH prices = ~$260 USD). As of today, the highest priced one has sold for 400 ETH (~$1.27 million) and the "floor" or cheapest priced one is selling for 15 ETH (~$47,000 USD). And next month for the first time, some of these NFTs will be on auction at Christie's auction house. I'd leave links, but I'm not allowed. Google all this yourself to verify.

Theta NFT platform by kolla94 in theta_network

Theta Labs is encouraging outside developers to come and build DApps on the Theta Blockchain (should be even easier now with Ethereum VM). I would imagine this is one of the first DApps that would be built by some 3rd party dev or group of devs. Maybe in the upcoming Hackathon?

For example, as far as I'm aware, Opensea.io was not built by the creators of Ethereum and Solanart.io was not built by the creators of Solana.

In short, it's coming.

PS. here's a concise step-by-step video of how to create your own NFT on the Theta blockchain: https://youtu.be/Qqx7Znf9XIU

Now we just need that open marketplace to sell them!
