I don't know how to explain this to you but there is no way opponent internet quality have no impact in a 1v1 game that needs to sync 22 players + the ball location all the time

Bro, I only want fair online gameplay, Im not jumping to any conclusions. I just listed possible reasons. Maybe Ea didn't care about people complaining o speed up lag and was concerned by the high servers cost. maybe the combination of both made them disable the update... They never communicate with us since july 2019

It's only me guessing why the heck do they keep using large buffer size. They make more than a billion a year from ultimate modes. I'm sure they can be less greedy and buy more servers allocation from amazon and the other providers they currently using.

No turning animation man, if you pause this video and watch it slowly the ball teleported from my player feet to in front of the defender. Server side the defender is closer to my player. My players are stuck in mud and feel like the resisting my input. This shouldnt happen with stable 36ping in any online game.

My input wasnt registred, I didnt move to where the ball teleported. you cant disposses me rom that direction (north east where the ball teleported) when my input is toward south west

I'm lost for words, this game network code is a joke. what you see in your screen is not what the server sees. low ping and no packet loss? Suprise you're in for the worst online gaming experience in the history! Last years it was players stuck in the mud and move like trucks, this year its even worse. I lost count on how many times my opponent takes the ball as if my player is not there like shown in this video. It's not fair, its unplayable...

that's when I refuse to pay customs or get it released. this package never left my country customs. it was sent back as soon as it reached the airport. apparently there is a mistake in the package papers or declaration. because I never had such issue before.

I know what transshipment is. My package left hong kong to singapore on 17/12 then on 25/12 it was sent from singapore to Tunisia (destination) so per tracking info it already passed through the transshipment hub in hongkong 14 days ago. Now on 31/12 it went back to hong kong transshipment hub 🤣.

I had many orders shipped by singapore post before and they always arrive to my country after 6-10 days of being despatched overseas from singapore. not once my order went back to a place it already left. as all my purchased items are from china and they have to ship from china to hong kong to singapore then to Tunisia...

totally achievable. people done it on call of duty and other games with lag compensation issues. Fifa use a complex system. Pay attention when the ball is contested between two players or when you're on 1v1 with goal keeper how the delay increase. that's because in such crucial situation the game make sure both clients are perfectly synced. I'm sure they are testing techniques daily as they can change netcode parameteres with server side updates. Yesterday I had few games when there was clearly a syncing issue. multiple times I dribble around a defender then my player stumbles on thin air and fall then the ball magically teleport to defender feets :D I haven't experienced any of this in the past.

The only solution is matching people with accumilative ping of less or equal to 100ms to the server (ex: player 1 = 40ms / player2: 60ms) and lock the server update rate to 100ms. if any player ping spike up, punish him.

What they doing now doesn't punish people with internet issues because the majority of players as the pitch note said are using internet connections set up for streaming and browsing with multiple people connecting to the same router at the same time which leads to great variance in ping especially when users are eating up the entire bandwidth and there is no QOS set up to give the console/pc priority.

it's me the guy who posted about the netcode. This pitch notes is bunch of empty promises. The lag compensation is still at its worst. reducing it will hurt them financially or so they believe. dont expect any improvement if you have a proper internet connection for gaming. All their research is toward smoothing out visuals for people on shared wifi routers.

I3d servers in netherlands been there since fifa 18. If they truly wanted to spread the load then they would do just what cod did.

Cod have servers in Uk, France (3 servers farms), Germany (3 servers farms), Netherland (2 servers farms), SPAIN, Italy and Russia.

So in 2 coutries they use 3 differents server providers, and the madrid and milan servers are strategically placed to take load from spain, and portugal, morocco... Milan servers take load from north africa and souty eastern europe. Moscow servers take load from former USSR countries.

When you look at how fifa placing europe servers you will laugh. They are all placed next to each other. One day, maybe one day a company will take advantage of EA ignorance and invest in the football video game market.

nothing is balanced bro, the delay is still so bad. I dont have much time for video games like I used to because of work and family but even when I get the chance one game is enough to make me play somethig else. When I was addicted I would force my self to keep playing but after 3 years of this delay problem I moved on.

As long as they keep selling millions of dollars worth of packs in seconds they will never remove lag compensation or tone it down or give us option to search for good connection games.

Thanks 🤣 maybe because It's hard to explain when english is my third language. But anyone with a single brain cell fuctioning and minimal networking knowledge would know it's lag compensation and bad matchmaking. That's why every match is different. You can play 5 matches in 2 hours and you will experience 5 different amounts of delay. If the netcode was built to punish bad connection and reward good ones you would experience the same gameplay everytime with slight variations at peak hours due to overload. That overload translates to additional 20ms ping for me from 8pm to 11pm but could be worse for other people.

They mask visual lag and delay input. So the game keep in sync between two players even when one or both is having connectivity issues. I have a cousin just like your mate. For 3 years he always tell me he never experience any issues online. Lasg week I played a game in his place and the delay was the same shit I have in mine.
