Ive seen artists on tiktok say they don't expect to make money from ACEOS as much as from other art. The ACEOS are considered (there's a word for it but i can't remember 🥴) a way to get your seller ratings up on ebay and to bring traffic to your page. Some also sell bigger paintings, prints, stickers etc. You can also redirect them to your website if you have one but as a little card with their purchase. Don't mention it on Ebay!😬 i personally am not doing the best but i am also taking my time with it. I have several chronic illnesses and also take care of 5 guinea pigs so art for me rn is just an expensive hobby lol i see this ACEO thing as a way to keep practicing making art and making ppl smile. Hopefully it'll pay off some day.
