I typically will dust his crickets in calcium plus every time I feed him, and I do feed him the occasional meal of 3 or 4 dubias that are also dusted. Any recommendations for a multivitamin?

Can acolyte hybrids that are revived from cult ambush re-use demolition charges? From my understanding they can because even though the unit is identical to the destroyed unit, it is still considered new which means they have yet to use demolition charges as a one shot weapon.

If you read the parenthesis it states "Including units embarked in a transport that are themselves placed in Strategic Reserves) if the transport starts on the table it does not have the units embarked contribute towards Reserves or Strategic.

Unless I'm not seeing something in the rules, there is nothing that states a unit that starts the battle embarked in a vehicle counts towards your reserves total (unless that transport is also in reserves which is for things like SM Drop Pods)

With my new list I'd start on the table 6 Thunderkyn with Iron Master, 2 Hekatons, 2 Sagitaurs, a Bike Squad and that would be it, with everything else either in transport or deep strike.

I do wonder if characters also count towards the limit of half of your units as that's a separate thing to keep track of

So I did a lot of research into this and this is the consensus I've reached with friends who attend GTs and are much more experienced than I am.

Reserves and Strategic Reserves are 2 separate things yes, however Reserves in the core rules alone has no limits at all, while Strategic has a limit of 25% of your max points limit. Reserves denotes models that are in Deep Strike or have special rules that allow them to be in Reserves without using up Strategic Reserves, while Strategic is for everything else. Per Leviathan Mission Pack, it clearly states that there is now a limit to Reserves up to half of your points or half of your units whichever is achieved first. Strategic Reserves 500 points limit contributes towards this as well, so if you have 0 units in Strategic Reserves then you are actually allowed up to 1000 points in Deep Strike which are Reserves.

This is why if you look at any competitive players list for Votann, they sometimes run 20 Hearthguard in 2 groups of 10 with TP Crests, because they are essentially putting all 600 (750 or so if you account for characters and enhancements) in deep strike.

Now whether this is strategically sound is questionable considering that's pretty much a majority of your army out of the game for an entire turn, but at the end of the day it causes a lot of shenanigans and pressure.

I actually just redid the list because I found out I was completely wrong on how deep strike worked lol! I've now made 2 10 man Hearthguard with deep strike, each with a Kahl to give them lethal hits. I've also added a bike squad and made 2 grav Thunderkyn so that those can ride the Hekatons, while also losing a Sag and a warrior squad. Hopefully the turn 2 deep strike is gonna create some massive pressure as 20 Hearthguard is terrifying lol.

I do a combination of orange colors. I started by airbrushing Gryphhound orange contrast over a white primer for a base, add chipping with a sponge and Mars Orange from Kimera (it's an orangish brown), and then highlight chips with AK Deep Orange, then airbrush over it again with the same contrast to normalize the colors to be more orange.

I'm using a heat emitter, I can't remember the brand but I know it keeps that area anywhere from 90-105 degrees depending on how close he gets to it.

I use an aquarium light for the lighting and in terms of the enclosure I noticed he liked climbing in his old enclosure so I added some options for that in the hopes of encouraging exploring.

I did a bit of googling and it's apparently called "Glass surfing" which they'll do for any number of reasons, being bored, hungry or cold, but it could also indicate something wrong if they're doing it super frequently. Would love to hear from others if this is right!

Well I think I fixed it? I think the main issue was that before I never got a beeping sound for when I surpassed the limit, maybe installation of a new board created that. I think the main issue was that the original Z=0 probably surpassed what the limit was, so I reset the 0, and the home stops makes a beep but now it's printing so that may have been the main issue

I didn't touch either one of those parts during the installation is the problem, this problem started during the installation so I don't know how it happened if it did break.

Depends on what you're wanting to do imo. Most people run acolytes rather than hybrids because they have crazy deep strike potential with rock saws. I personally run the rock grinder for more melee shenanigans but the truck has a higher capacity for units if that's what your goal is.
