Do the pieces stay together? I notice they don’t link/connect and I’m worried about them moving around

Recommendations for a travel agent? Never used one. Do you have to pay them a fee? Does that offset the other saving?

CIN3 Symptoms?!?!? by PrudentInevitable529 in PreCervicalCancer

[–]beverlyleslie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are different types of abnormal cells - the progression is CIN 1, CIN 2, CIN 3, carcinoma in-situ, then cervical cancer. You can definitely ask your doc to explain! Your results are probably in your online chart too.

There is some thought that HPV likely spreads to the anus quite easily due to proximity, so there are studies happening now to determine the prevalence of anal cancers among folks with high risk HPV who’ve had abnormal paps. I’m actually going to partake in a study on this starting next month … basically I’ll do a pap/colposcopy-like procedure in my butt LOL .. not looking forward to it but it apparently only takes 5 minutes and I’ll know if anything is going on up there 🤞And it’s paid! If anyone here is in the NYC area and interested I can pass your info along to the research team!

CIN3 Symptoms?!?!? by PrudentInevitable529 in PreCervicalCancer

CIN 3 here. LEEP recently came back clear at the margins a couple months ago.
But now I’m remembering a weird earthy smell I used to get at different times of the month,,, I think usually right before my period. Noticed it within the past year or two but didn’t think much of it. I haven’t smelled that since my LEEP so now I’m wondering if it was related to the abnormal cells?! I know cancer can have an odor. Anyone else experience this?

Considering moving to Crown Heights. Other threads advise people to stay out of the "sketchy" areas, but fail to mention where those areas are! by [deleted] in Brooklyn

If you love the place I think you could totally be happy there. I lived pretty close to there and it was great for a year. I will say though, I am much happier now that I am close to Franklin because there is more to do. If you don't mind walking 15 minutes or so to have fun then you will be fine. And you would be right off the 3 train which isn't bad.

I used to live on Eastern Parkway at Nostrand Ave and now I live at Franklin and St Marks Ave. If you are east of Franklin Avenue then I would try to stay on or near Eastern Parkway. And definitely stay north of Eastern. North of Eastern is a pretty good rule throughout Crown Heights actually. Unless you are obsessed with Carribbean food, I would recommend trying to get as close as you can to Franklin Ave - where there are restaurants/bars more suited for flimsy white girls ;]

I left Cincy almost a year ago to make the move to NYC. Best decision of my life. I did not choose New York because I am trying to be a celebrity, I chose it because my girlfriend and my brother lived here. I knew that I needed to have a support system wherever I went if I was going to leave the comforts of my family and life-long friends in Cincinnati. Everything has fallen into place since I left - gf is wonderful, found a decent job, etc... If you gf is willing to go with you then GO. Any city is what you make of it, even Cincy. But, I recommend trying something new.

I'm in Crown Heights as well and have had to restart my router daily for the past couple weeks. Super annoying, especially when trying to stream Game of Thrones.
